Today is the day! Our family photos are today at a nearby Christmas tree farm and I am so excited! Mostly I’m excited to see the finished end product. As any mom will tell you, corralling kids (and our dog!) for formal pictures does not make for a relaxing day!
I wracked my brain for a bit trying to come up with some cute, coordinating outfits that weren’t too matchy and my family would actually wear and came up with two options. Beyond that, I couldn’t choose so I let my Instagram pals help me out!

Here’s option 1:
I love this navy button skater dress, and love its price tag even more!
My husband would wear a pink flannel-y button down that he already owns, but this one is a super affordable option!
The blush pink knit set is from Janie and Jack (use this link to save 15% off!) and I’d have Grace in white knee socks and tan moccs.
Jack’s khaki neutral outfit is all from The Beaufort Bonnet Company (half-zip sweater, pants) and he’d wear his normal, everyday sneakers from Target.
And option 2:
Can you tell I really liked this navy dress? For this blue scheme, I’d have everyone in clothes they already own (my husband’s favorite! LOL!)
Jack would wear a gray Ralph Lauren pullover sweater, blue gingham dress shirt from Beaufort Bonnet, and every day jeans from Carter’s.
Grace’s sweet sage green muslin bubble and bow set is from Marshall’s but this one is similar
And as honorable mention:
A repeat of option 1, but instead of a dress, I’d be in this cream sweater and jeans. But alas, the sweater would not arrive in time! Is that going to stop me from picking one up? Probably not, I just have to decide if I want cream, blue, or pink.
Now just to get a haircut and do my nails so I’ll look like I have it all together LOL!
Which option would you pick? Do you do family photos? I’ll share ours when they’re ready and you can see which outfits we went with!
